Overview
About Me
I am married to my best friend, Chase, and we love traveling the world. When we aren't spending time with our pup, Chewie, we are always spending time with family and friends. We enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, skiing, you name it... and eating our way through each and every place we visit!
I worked in the financial, IT, and cybersecurity industries for the last 6 years and recently left the corporate world to pursue my own passions for food and travel. I am currently working and growing my online business, thenomnomnomad (dot) com
Chase has worked in the construction management field for 8+ years, and is currently working for a demolition and abatement company as a Project Estimator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through Couchsurfing, we hope to experience each place we visit like a local and truly immerse ourselves in the culture. We both love new experiences, exploring the world around us, and meeting new friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of music... Tame Impala, M83, Empire of the Sun, Real Estate, Ramones, The XX, Niki & The Dove, Spoon, Duke Dumont, Future Islands, Beach House, Toro Y Moi, The Shins, The Strokes, Foals... I could go on...
The classics... Eagles, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Queen... again, I could go on...
Movies: Anything Hitchcock... Coen brothers... Guy Ritchie... Woody Allen... Martin Scorsese, also a sucker for any Marvel comic movies
TV: GoT, Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Shameless, Stranger Things, guilty-pleasure: Below Deck (we like big boats...?)
I wish I read more but what I do enjoy are books that inspire working for myself, like The 4-Hour Work Week, The Pumpkin Plan, etc. I also loved every single Harry Potter book and practically anything that's mystery-style like Girl on a Train
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To date, it's been taking the leap to quit my job in Corporate America to pursue my own passions for travel and food, by starting my business, The NomNomNomad. I finally decided I wanted to live my best life and be happy... sold our house, our crap, and will be traveling full-time starting in March.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to listen to other traveler's experiences, understand the different cultures around the world, learn new languages is a bonus!
I can share experiences from the (few) countries I've visited - I hope to grow this over the next few years! I have a lot of passion for food, whether that be through cooking or trying different cuisine wherever I go. I can teach you how to cook delicious meals and would love to learn from you as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've been told I'm an excellent cook- so there's that!
