Overview
About Me
I have enjoyed hosting many different couch surfers in the past. I enjoy learning something new, meeting new people, and hearing their stories and life lessons. I enjoy my work in Hartford, CT as a criminal justice researcher, but I live in New Haven, CT because I like the college-town atmosphere. I spend my free time hiking, crocheting, rock climbing, camping, and playing racquetball. I try my best to have practical skills in my repertoire, so I am currently enrolled in an EMT course and am practicing basic Portuguese when I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people, learn about other cultures, customs, and places, and have new adventures. Whether I am hosting or traveling, I have been happy to discover and rediscover that people are kind-hearted, curious, and always have something new to teach me.
Interests
My interests tend to wax and wane, but generally I enjoy getting outside to enjoy seeing new things. I love to explore cities and nature, camping, trying out a new transit system, site-seeing, museums, going to the movies, and listening to speeches and lectures.
Some physical activities I are enjoy are rock climbing, racquetball, softball, soccer, cricket, rugby, hiking, canoeing, capture the flag, and squash.
But, I also enjoy relaxing and reading a book, hanging out with my friends, crocheting, origami, making crafts and jewelry, and cooking.
