Overview
About Me
I am an avid traveler (32 countries+) and I am always interested in meeting new people, exploring new cities and taking photos.
I am a teacher with passions that include: photography, people watching, reading, movie watching, nature walking, eating, and learning anything and everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on CS, because I am looking for a place to crash while I venture across Europe this summer for another long-term visit. Previously, I visited various cities in Europe during a 4 month stay in Denmark through a study abroad program. This time, I am exploring cities within Central and Eastern Europe in preparation for a gap-year.
I seek genuine experiences and enjoy learning about the culture and ways of life in a place, which is what makes CS ideal for me. I am eager to explore additional places, cultures, and to learn from a variety of people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to all kinds of music ranging from classical to rap, but not limited to techno/electronic and indie bands from all over the world. Due to my interest in psychology and philosophy, I like books such as "Lord of the Flies", "Brave New World", and introductory works of philosophy (such as Sartre, Hume, Kant) to learn about other perspectives. I like romantic comedies, educational films, nature films, and documentaries about nearly anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Shadowing a neurosurgeon and seeing a live brain surgery.
Studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark for 4 months.
Hiking in Croatia around Plitvice Lakes NP
Riding a camel in Morocco.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to share my knowledge of a different culture (the Pacific North West, where Seattle is located is a fun and quirky sub-culture). I hope to learn about each European city that I venture to and to share authentic experiences with individuals from the city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share photographs from my travels, simple food recipes, and hiking/travel tips that I've learned.
I can also share stories of my life , explain what life in Seattle is like, and learn anything and everything of interest to my hosts.
