ABOUT ME
I'm Kendall.
I like to read and play tennis. I like to drink tea. Strangely, I eat about 2-4 bananas a day. My life has been very good so far. I've been extremely lucky.
If you have any computer problems or want help wiring things, I'm pretty handy at that.
Also, I like touch. I'm good at foot, back, and hand massages.
I think a lot about how we can make the world a better place in the long term. I am an atheist but I believe in connection between people that contributes to a consciousness of humanity.
I've worked as an SSR for IBM, going to large companies and repairing and changing their database hardware. It's a fun job because I get to spend a lot of time not really working.
I love to learn. I'm peace-loving and music-loving.
PHILOSOPHY
What favors my long term and optimal happiness is the happiness of those around me. This rule of thumb usually leads to pretty good results.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm mostly interested in hosting people right now, but I imagine that by hosting people I will gain a base of people who will be willing to house me one day in return.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've actually been couchsurfing officially a couple of times, but both experience were fantastic, we were fed and given a private RV on one occasion... I'm willing to provide only my sofa, my advice, some f
I haven't hosted anyone yet... officially... but I have hosted friends who couchsurf, on my couch.
Interests
I love geographic things. Mountains and gorges and rocks and rivers.
In the winter I snowboard whenever possible. I used to live in colorado and this was a favorite pastime
Music is a constant feature in my life. I like folk, alternative, indie, electronic, and some rock.
I read a lot. Fiction or not, it doesn't matter. I just got a Kindle and even though it sounds almost the same as my name I still like it a lot.
Physics was my main area of study at university. I also studied Economics. The mathematics of human behavior and choice fascinates me.
I'm okay at some card games
