About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the next city, play on the next street, meet the next interesting person.
ABOUT ME
I am an easy going and interested person that enjoys exploring new perspectives and ideas with all different kinds of people. I am 23 years old and recently graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelors degree in music composition. I have recently returned from a summer long backpacking trip through Europe, where I busked on many streets and experienced couchsurfing (as a surfer) for the first time.
PHILOSOPHY
Live with integrity, treat people with kindness and compassion, recognize the extraordinary nature of things, and always be aware of your own limitations. I am always developing my philosophy, and will never cease to do so. The Good is real, and I aim to live within it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have only been surfing, but when I can I would also love to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My experiences surfing so far have all been great. I have really been surprised by the variety and quality of people that I have met so far. It seems like a wonderful way to meet people from around the world.
Interests
My main interests are Music and Philosophy. I play several instruments including guitar, and I am a member of a Balinese gamelan ensemble based in Denver, Colorado. Of all conversation topics, I most enjoy those which explore all of the varied ways human beings perceive and interact with the world. I also thoroughly enjoy being in nature, at least in part because I grew up spending much of my time in the rocky mountains with my family. I am currently working on adding travel to my list of loves and interests!

Kierkegaard, Durant, Kafka, Dostoevsky, Orson Scott Card, Kant, David Foster Wallace (currently attempting to finish Infinite Jest), Catcher in the Rye, Harry potter is great for binge reading sesions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity to have a full orchestra play one of my own compositions. Hard to describe the feeling after having put so much into the piece!
