About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Play music, have fun, live life and eat great food!
ABOUT ME
***I'm not always on here but when I get messages I do try to respond....***
I grew up in Alaska, went to school in Oregon and now am completing my Master's in the Netherlands. I love to travel, learn languages, eat great food. I LOVE to cook and drink fine Belgian beers. I started my own little music company in 2008 and I hope that it will grow. For now, just doing my thing and enjoying life as much as possible
I also want to inform people that my name is Kendra, but I also go by dar or kendar, so don't be surprised if I sign messages that way! I can tell you the story when I am on your couch one day ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Do not leave for tomorrow what you could do today. OR If you are talking about it, you should be doing it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love this concept. I enjoy meeting new people from around the world and hope to help other wandering souls out!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So I can now say I've both hosted and surfed and both have been great experiences... I am so thankful to the person that hosted me because it really saved my buns. When I get back home (after nearly 8 months away) I'll need some down time, but look forward to hosting people in the future again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've traveled a lot, and seen a bunch, so let's talk about it when we are on each others couch one day!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a musician and usually have one of my saxophones with me. I am also a working recording engineer specializing in classical, jazz and all improvising music. Aside from playing saxophone, I can play some clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, and keyboards. Since I am musically trained I can help someone out who might want to learn more about music.
I also am an amazing cook (not my words). I really enjoy food in general. I am a meatatarian, but having gone to school in Eugene, OR, I've learned to cook many a dish sans meat! And they are tasty! In general I like to work from scratch as much as possible.
I'm really interested in learning more about Asian dishes especially from China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand.
I have a few small things I can do, but want to know much more!
