About Me

I am currently embarking on a three year traveling adventure across 6 continents and over 30 countries. I work remotely to run my online personal training business which I have been doing for 7yrs+ now and I really value the flexibility it has given me to begin this epic adventure. I am most passionate about family, food, nature, culture, and history and I am looking to expand upon my world view. I want to meet like minded individuals who take pleasure in the little things in life; strolls through the streets to find hidden gems, great conversations about life, dreams of the future and the things of value that money cannot buy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found that these first few months of traveling have been exciting but fairly lonely. Most of my time has been spent exploring alone and though I have participated in numerous walking tours and activities, I seem to be the only one doing so solo. I would love to spend some of my free time with a person(s) who would be able to connect me to places I am visiting more in-depth and to really gain a grasp of the culture around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite playlists on repeat are usually 90's/00's R&B, I also love some more old school stuff like Motown, classic rock, and some alternative and when I need to wind down I love instrumental/drum, and anything rhythmic. I enjoy reading mysteries/crime/fiction and just finished a book by Erin Kelly named The Skeleton Key, one of my favorites ever. I rarely watch tv/movies but when I do I usually prefer something uplifting/comedic or documentary in nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This journey. I feel full of courage and pride in stepping out of my known box to venture into the world truly by myself. It feels surreal to be doing it and each step I take I feel like my eyes have grown bigger, my knowledge deeper and my love for adventure stronger.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think that I bring joy and kindness wherever I go. I am always happy to contribute in whatever way possible, and I have a wide range of handy(wo)man skills, creativity and some pretty good physical strength to lend a hand at tasks.
