I was recently bit by the travel bug and figure this would be a great way to meet people and see a little more of this beautiful world. I'm a neonatal intensive care nurse who just recently started applying for travel positions (looking at Hawaii and Cali first!), so I'm technically based in Phoenix but expecting to be a bit of a nomad for a while. I figure there are worse things. ;)

I've always focused on education and my career in the past, so this is totally new and exhilarating for me. The wanderlust is strong though, and I can't wait to see where it takes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want more than just the hotel experience while I travel. I'm hoping to meet some interesting locals in the places I visit and get better insight into things to do beyond the typical touristy things. I'd love to walk away with a few new friends!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once slid down black diamond ski runs on my back IN THE DARK to avoid spending a freezing night on a mountain. Not sure if that is amazing or just foolish haha, but it was fun!
