About Me

Hi there!

After graduating college this past year, I am making the most of the time I have as a digital nomad. I have been a part of an amazing marketing team for three years now and as of August of 2018, I decided to take my part abroad. I was terrified but made a plan to backpack through SouthEast Asia for five months with my computer. I immediately fell in love (though there were of course times of struggle). I brought a friend on the team and she travelled with me for the entire time. Once I realized just how capable I am and just how much you learn about your world, yourself, and other humans, I became interested in a solo trip. The plan is to roadtrip (solo) through Canada. Driving my own vehicle up through California and beginning my journey in Vancouver. I only plan for about a month on this adventure as more awaits me elsewhere.

I am very easy going and open to learning new things. I'm into mindfulness (yoga, personal development, meditation, reiki, etc), art in all of its forms, and am always down to learn a new skill. From wakeboarding and snowboarding, to riding dunebuggies and ATVS, to photography and fluid paint, to content creation and platform connections, I am eager to make this life the most interesting it can be and fill my day to day with passions, connections, and learning.

Most of my inspiration and motivation comes from a good book or podcast and would LOVE to hear your recommendations. I'd like to say I'm 50% spiritual, 50% business mindset.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this site from a friend I met traveling and fell in love with the idea. It makes me so happy to hear there are generous people around the world to open up their homes to strangers looking for new experiences. If all goes well, I know this will be something I consider when I have my own home.

I have become very curious of other culture, ideas, and perspectives and would love to involve people in my journey! I will be taking my work with me so it will not be ALL play, but I am interested in exploring the beautiful Canada with you and am excited to be along for the ride!

Music, Movies, and Books

The alchemist has been my favorite book this year. I love books that inspire and motivate me to go outside my comfort zone.

Same with podcasts. I love Creative Mornings and Joe Rogan. Sometimes I need comedy, sometimes I need personal development

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went scuba diving through a Japanese Shipwreck from WWII in the Philippines!
