Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm a PA girl in Memphis studying for my Master's in both Applied Medical Anthropology and Public Health. I also have a great GA position with our disability resources department, as the adaptive tech assistant. Recently granted permission to head one of the community/urban garden projects on campus. I was also recently married to the love of my best friend of eight years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Eventually I may offer up my place to stay, but not at this time. I mostly am interested in finding cheap stays for conferences etc.
Interests
Right now I spend almost every moment on school, but I remember the things I liked to do for fun! I love coffee shops, hole in the wall pubs and eateries, cooking, traveling, photography, and game nights,

Music, Movies, and Books
I have very ecclectic tastes in terms of music. I like anything that sounds "good" to me. I do love fantasy novels and horror movies when I have time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had never camped once in my life when I registered for an archaeology field school in Yukon Canada. During this experience I camped out in the wilderness for 5 weeks without running water and other amenities, had a run in with a bear, hiked 13 hours in the muskeg, and learned a wealth of information from my amazing and accomodating hosts of the Upper Tanana Native tribes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my travel experiences, a solid game of Munchkin or Cards Against Humanity, good conversation, some handiwork around the house, tasty/healthy meals, and laughter!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Malta, Mexico
