Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new as a participant, and have two great friends who are rather active at it. I hope to be a part of local events and also to travel extensively and meet other members whom I hope will then visit my couch as well.

Books, adventures, music, capoeira (I must learn before I can teach, but it is a strong interest), world civs and cultures, history, long talks on long city walks, animals, optimism, realism, cooking, exploring ideas (curious things I've heard in conversation, snippets of taken-for-fact info) and finding truths, paint, inventing.

Music: Funk (Jackie Mittoo, New Orleans Funk, 70s Southern, etc.), World (Amadou & Mariam, dancehall/reggae, French Cafe...the infamous Carla Bruni, Tuvan throat singing, currently building an appreciation for Arabic music. Mahmoud is COOL!)

First sunrise in the U.S. (Acadia National Park, Bar Harbour, ME); Sunset atop Mt. Sinai in Egypt; Jamaicans going wild with fanaticism at a schoolboys' soccer match; St. Pat's Day in Toulouse, France; Garden of the Gods, Col. Sprgs, CO; hiking Red Rocks in NV, witnessing birth.

Teach, Learn, Share

Auto Maintenance and Light repairs, organic gardening techniques, physical strength/training, optimism, literary expansion, conversation (if I can't add anything, I will listen intently, then rebutt to liven things up).
