About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love meeting new people, hearing stories and sharing a richer travel experience than hotels and group tours.
ABOUT ME
Born in Japan, raised in California and trying to become a world citizen. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. I get excited about travel and helping people learn new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Time is scarce and valuable. It's my mission to spend it in the best way possible helping others and on personal growth.
Experiences, people and learning are the things I want most in life right now. A piece of advice from the friend who got me started on Couchsurfing: interact with people who think differently from yourself to experience new things and grow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I work during the week and generally go to bed early and wake up early. I currently don't host due to my living situation but I'd be happy to meet with travelers and explore places together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started as a Couchsurfing host in August 2013. I've met some remarkable people through Couchsurfing but as a host, a traveller, and just hanging out.
Interests
Global cuisine, swimming, tennis, coffee, travel!, Spanish, bicycles, motorcycles, exploring new neighborhoods, economics, languages, real estate, business
I'm also focusing on learning tennis, improving fitness and becoming a better cook. If you play tennis and are patient with a beginner (I'm a 2.5), I'd love to play!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've stayed in PLA housing in China, helped build homes after Katrina and have driven across the United States several times.
I rode my bicycle between SF and San Diego in Dec 2014. It took me a week and was an amazing trip!
