ABOUT ME

Now retired, spent 30 odd years in France (Paris) , then lived in Malta before moving to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria where I currently reside.
Atheist and actively so! Don't mind faith in others but have a healthy distrust of organized religion... have you seen what it has done?
Appreciate intelligent conversation, am fascinated by science, space, ethics etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I have less and less faith in governments, politics, religion, and people in general when I see what they have done to the earth. Really don't believe we have much time left;intend to try and enjoy it while it lasts!
My personal philosophy can be summed up by a line by Tennessee Williams from The Night of The Iguana: "Nothing human disgusts me, except perhaps unkindness or violence." Then again, I think I might add "stupidity" to that list...
