About Me
Hello! I'm Kengo, 20 years old. I'm easygoing and I like to talk with people.
I've been studying in Lille, France, as an exchange student. I'll be here until this summer.
As a hobby, I'm obsessed with running. I've done a couple of marathons. I often jog around my house.
I've lived in France for more than 8 months, I'm in the midst of learning French. One of the biggest goals is to improve my French as well as English. Also, I'm aiming at interacting with people in different backgrounds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I registered here in order to make the most of my stay in France and Europe. As I'm living by myself in a apartment, I'm really flexible. I think it's great opportunity to know another culture. Also, it makes it easier to travel many places in the world.
Of course I want to introduce you this cozy city in northern France.
Interests
First of all, I'm into sports and exercises. Especially, running is one of my biggest interests because I'm marathoner. In addition, knowing another culture such as foreign language interests me a lot. I hope to exchange and find many kinds of culture in participating Couch Surfing.
Another important thing, this is drinking beer. I found local beer here are quite nice. I like to grab some beer and drink them in a terrace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, I've been to Canada. It was my first time in abroad. I couldn't even speak English but I was camping in a beautiful village in Quebec. Though it was hard time because of my langage ability at that moment, I surely think it was the most precious experience in my life. And I was fascinated by the people speaking both English and French, that's why I chose to study here in France.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I'm Japanese, I can teach Japanese for sure. If you are interested in that culture, it seems nice idea to stay in my room.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Usually, I make Japanese food as a daily meal. It means we can share the particular dishes with hosts.
