Overview
About Me
30 year old guy from Karmøy in Norway, home of the viking kings. Got into couchsurfing fairly recently while on a roadtrip in central Europe. I work a shift rotation as a process operator at a plant. In my free time I'm into online gaming, going to the gym, watching movies or series, listening to music or seeing artists live, being with friends or family, going for walks/jogs/hikes. I recently started getting ink, hoping to get more over time, I love tattoos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've recently become interested in travel and new experiences. Couchsurfing is great when you need a place to stay, and dont want to sit by yourself in a boring motel/hotelroom. And you get to meet some fantastic locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on a roadtrip by myself through Central Europe. Couchsurfed for the first time in a german town called schnackenwerth. Drove through Austria and the San Bernardino-pass. Lived in a tent in Locarno for a week, went paragliding from Cimetta Cardada, visited Italy, went to Salzburg, saw the eagles nest and Berchtesgaden, stayed in a guesthouse in Abtenau, went on top of Untersberg, saw the worlds largest ice caves in Werfen and the dark gorge in Scheffau, stopped by Nurnberg and ended up in Hamburg, went to the german island of Sylt where I accidentally almost started a fire in my room (not fun at the time, but a funny story now), before returning home with the ferry from Hirtshals to Kristiansand.
Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy., Liechtenstein. 4700km driven in 3 weeks.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to practice my german, and I'm happy to teach Norwegian.
I live near Haugesund and Stavanger but Im not that familiar in the cities. I prefer the smaller places.
If you like nature there are plenty of nice walks in the area, mountains or forests.
We can visit some historical sites like the viking farm on Bukkøy, the German artillery fortress at Syre, walk the white beaches of Karmøy, the copper mines at Visnes or anything you can think of.
If youre here during summer there is a chance we can take the boat out and go fishing.
If youre interested in brewing mead, the honey wine of vikings, I could teach you how.
