About Me
Hello, hello! This is my 2nd time around trying couch surfing and just want to meet awesome, inspiring and down to earth peeps. Will be in Melbourne August 14th to August 24th with no crazy plans just trying to see the vibes. Thinking about doing a working holiday 2025. Training for a marathon in December so if anyone has any good spots or needs a running partner hmu!! Also down for coffee and exploring :)

In the phase of my life where I'm trying to push myself in all areas of life, keeping open perspectives and I think couchsurfing would allow me to meet people doing the same thing :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - All over the place at the moment, but right now I'm super into Australian/New Zealand indie pop (Lime Cordelia, Daily j, Spacey Jane). Grew up mainly listening to hip/hop but nowadays I'm trending towards Indie/psychedelic/pop. After living in Hawaii for a little bit also falling in love with the island reggae sound (SIX60, Katchafire, J Boog)
Movies - Anything that gets me into my feels, haha. Favorite childhood movie = Iron Giant, Most nostalgic = Spirited Away, Favorite romcom: 500 days of summer, Favorite Action = The Town, Favorite Comedy = Superbad (so bad but can't not love it!!)
Books - Memories, Dreams, Reflections (Carl Jung), The Hero's Journey (Joesph Campbell), The namesake (Jhumpa Lahiri)
Teach, Learn, Share
One of the biggest reasons I'm couch surfing and traveling in general is to learn more about food/cuisine. It's not only that I love food but I think it's one of the best ways to meet locals and learn about cultures from an authentic perspective. I would love to get know cuisine from your perspective and
stick to local street food spots!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Deep and openminded conversation, search for authentic relationships/life experiences, good listening and an amateur level of cooking. Usually pretty go with the flow when traveling, so down for spending as much or as little time together.
Countries I’ve Visited
Japan, Malaysia, Thailand
