ABOUT ME

I grew up in Zamboanga City, Philippines. It's located in the in the island of Mindanao. The vernacular is Chavacano which is broken Spanish.

On my freshman year in college (2004), I took part in an exchange program. That generally changed my view about life and the world. The best part was to learn history, culture and feel a sense of community with other nationalities.

I don't smoke. I may enjoy partying but not all the time, maybe occasionally.

I talk a lot except if I'm not in the mood. I crave for adventure and spontaneity all the time which is another way of saying 'I get bored easily'.

I love reading. I love watching good films. I love traveling.

When traveling, I enjoy exploring the local arts scene— theatre, music, artworks, I love museums and historical places, I look forward to doing a few classes maybe on cooking, or something that’s has a very local flavor. I also like exploring hidden places. I love to eat. I love the beach too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I and my two friends met with a couchsurfer while in Kuala Lumpur in 2009. He toured us around the city and gave tips how to enjoy our short time there.
