About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to be sunshine on legs, traveling with two feet and a camera
ABOUT ME
when i was a kid my life dream was to travel the world as a national geographic photographer. while sadly i'm not working for nat'l geo, i'm in awe everyday that i'm pretty much living the dream - traveling for a year as a freelance photographer. i was lucky enough to have two friends Ariella and Susan who were also able to quit their corporate jobs and commit to spending our life savings on the road. living in seattle where it rains a LOT, we decided to travel westward from Los Angeles and follow summer. we're careful with the sunscreen...
PHILOSOPHY
i've come to ask if there isn't a new moon outside your window saying if. - e.e. cummings
i don't believe in the word "should." either i do something or i don't. i try to live in the moment. life is precious. i'm thankful every morning when i wake up. i attempt to not take things for granted. we are all connected on this planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the scariest thing i've done is attempt to summit Mt. Cotapaxi in Ecuador - i don't like heights, or cravasses, or altitude sickness at 17,800 feet. i'll never do that again, but i'm so glad i tried. mountain climbers are crazy.
Teach, Learn, Share
i can show you how to make a pinhole camera out of a milk carton. really easy, but then you need a place to develop the image!
