About Me

We were excited to return to hosting but unfortunately will not be hosting until the pandemic is under control either via vaccine or routine treatment. We encourage you to stay at home to protect those you love and those you have yet to learn that you love. We will all travel again someday!

We now have a beautiful brand new human living with us, so will be very selective about who we host. Going out with our guests will be difficult in the evenings, and nap dependent during the day. Our house is also very very full with 3.5 people and two cats so we won’t be hosting often. But if we can, we will! Enjoy your travels in Philly!

CURRENT MISSION

we're gonna live on our wits, throw away survival kits, trade butterfly knives for adderall...and that's not all - there will be snacks, there will!

ABOUT ME

Eccentric, but not offensively so. Overly polite and underly obtrusive.

K - I'm a puppeteer and playwright. I also work as an Orientation and Mobility specialist (teaching individuals with visual impairments or blindness skills for crossing streets, using transportation, etc). http://www.transmissionstheatre.weebly.com for info on my productions!

J - Performer & composer with Upholstery (upholstery.bandcamp.com).

An addendum: As we are disinclined to dine on meat, we unfortunately have no recommendations as to where you should purchase a Philly Cheesesteak...but from what we hear, they're....well they're all pretty much the same, youse guys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate as often as possible, and enjoy hosting and being hosted equally! We love couchsurfing as a means of meeting new and interesting people, and we think that treating it like a place where you can just find a free place to stay is kinda bunk. If you say in your message "We just need a place to crash" or "You will hardly know we are here!" we will probably decline to host you. There are lots of great air bnb's in town where you can find a spot to sleep for the night! We want to spend time with our guests and learn and share with people from all over the world.

We host a lot, and really want to make sure that our hosting/your surfing experience is a good one; so please send an at-least-semi-personal message, and IF you do not have a profile filled out on this website, please send us a link to your facebook/google+/website (no need to do this if your profile is complete on CS). Requests sent without a profile or link to a public profile will be ignored. Thanks a bundle!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've couch-surfed in Ireland, Greece, Morocco, Peru, France, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Belize, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Italy and the United States, and have had surfers from all over stay with us. 'Here, here' to one of the internet's greatest byproducts.

Interests

Kennedy - Likes puppets, books, fauxtographs, stories, learning Spanish, ponies, escalators, and obfuscation.

Jeremy - Making musical noises, a good game of pool, learning about anything and everything.
