Overview
About Me
My name is Kennedy Zelaya, I’m a 28 years old Honduran backpacker who’s project is to hitchhike the world with only $100.
Leaving a flourishing career that I loved and my Bachelor’s degree in teaching behind for a life of travel and adventure across the world with just $100, my backpack and a camping tent felt like a ridiculous idea. Many have asked how did I get here, and why? I’ve been on this journey for over 2 year, visited 17 countries so far and I’m working on my first book,- JALÓN- La Vuelta Al Mundo.
During my travels I want to learn from Latinoamerica about politics, culture, gastronomy, society, art and original communities. I’m a simple guy, full of adventure, who loves reading & writing, cinema, mountains, the ocean, cooking, tea, coffee and a cold beer, appreciates good company from humans or animals and loves nature. Always with positive vibes and open minded to new experiences and opportunities to grow up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on this site because I want to live as a local in every country I am visiting, want to make friends from all over the world, share travel experiences and collet memories for my book JALÓN.

Music, Movies, and Books
I honestly do not have a favorite one, I consider art is something you have to feel connected to your current feelings in order to experience it complete.
