Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As indicated above.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to brush shoulders with different students from different countries and states and with this, it has been kind of networking to an extent that has made those whom I had hosted to refer their friends to come and stay with me. Upon receiving them we normally learn and know each others likes and dislikes, culture, their foods, the food they like and are able to eat and hence give them the opportunity to feel free in my house and even freedom to cook since I don't drink alcohol nor beer I give them the freedom to drink but not misbehave in the house.

Interests

I have always enjoyed living with them because I learn a lot from them. Some of them like my African dish (food and even some don't take long time to cope with our life style but some are slow in coping with our lifestyle however, I just I like them because sometimes they can suggest to prepare their dish for me this is quite interesting! Sometimes we go outing with them.arranging Tours and Safaris to them if in need depending on their likes. At times some like going to National parks seeing the nature wildlife.

Music, Movies, and Books

Myself i like Music especially gospel, Lingala rumba, and reading books , dancing and singing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked for 2 hours from the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro i just used to see it from the Kenyan side but that day i felt it and smelled it in Tanzania.

i took a boat for 4 hours from Wagusu island to Rusinga island for the first time to board a boat it was my first experience and i was afraid of the waves i thought i would die.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have stayed with a lot of different people and we got along well sharing many things in life, they also shared with me about their ways of living in their Country and what they do. Most of them have interest in knowing how we do our things and how we live with people, and i came to know from them that most of them do not have extended families us we do here in my Country Kenya. It is amazing to them to see people coming sharing with us food without making prior appointment hence they stay with us, we share a lot of stories with a lot of love amongst us this looked strange to them and they couldn't believe their eyes. Sometimes they do ask if they could participate in preparing food for us, they are free to do it ,and sometimes I also teach them how we prepare our African dish.and we all enjoy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

What i offer to a Host, is A bed and a room. and i would also appreciate whoever am hosting could also contribute food. because is also part of parcel of the Family. and be free to the Family too.
