Overview
About Me
I love to travel but you will never find me without some kind of instrument whether its a harmonica, apple shaped shaker, or banjolele.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The first time I Couchsurfed was in Sweden and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It's a demonstration of how kind and welcoming people be and being able to participate in that is fantastic.
Interests
My biggest interests are sailing and rock climbing, though the opportunities I've had to do either have been limited recently. Traveling in my car, hiking, and talking to people along the way are some passions as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Every genre of music tells an important story so I really enjoy listening to everything and figuring out what that is. Bands I listen to more than others are State Radio, River City Extension, Be Good Tanyas, Trombone Shorty
I'm a big fan of documentaries, they offer a great balance between education and entertainment. More specific movies include Jaws, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Die Hard.
Most of the books that I read involve travel of some kind. Kerouack, Thoreau, Hemingway, Steinbeck all have an important place for me. Agatha Christie also provides some good entertainment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 11 my family and I lived on a boat in the Bahamas sailing it from MA and back over the course of a year.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone has a different perspective and outlook on life and learning to listen to those perspectives can open a wealth of knowledge.
