Went for an 8-day Overland Track in Tasmania with another friend when I was 21 - no wifi, not even cell network, just one emergency beacon for a helicopter rescue (we didn't use it sadly).

FOOD. From where I come from, you can get almost all kinds of food at affordable prices. And it'll be very difficult to get bored. In one week, I can have Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, Malay, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, Italian, Japanese (my fav!), and the list goes on..

I live to eat, and hence, I cook as well. Some dishes which I've made a few times include (local specialities) chicken rice, curry, briyani, nasi lemak, bak kut teh, and the (much easier) aglio olio, fried chicken, sushi etc.
