Have been to 34 countries since age 12, have survived cancer, been writing and publishing for 30 years.

I have been on CS since 2015, but have not been open to visitors due to illness in the family.

I am not receiving guests due to great work load (I work at home), but I am open to questions about Copenhagen and hope I can answer.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A friend of mine going on a one week trip with his children met a young french couple in love at Nørreport Station in København, Denmark. They had arrived basically without money (very romantic just leaving for another country :-D), very much needed a place to stay and asked for suggestions. He gave them his keys and his address and left for his vacation.

When he came back, everything was (of course) okay in his house, but the French couple really wanted to stay a bit longer in this friendly environment, but still had no money. So, he told the story on Facebook, which gave the young couple 20 optional spaces all around Denmark, for free.

But not just that: the story went viral on facebook and hit the pages of some newspaper, talking about trust and friendship between strangers.

That is my ideal world.
