ABOUT ME
I'm a rural young professional who's blessed with a newly-restored 110-year-old farmhouse on a quiet road, about 30 minutes north of I-80 and 5 minutes south of US 30/Lincoln Highway. I have chickens, cats, and a dog.
I keep fairly busy volunteering for various community development organizations, which either boost my energy or scramble my brain.
PHILOSOPHY
Make sure everyone is living as well as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've never hosted someone from couchsurfing, but I keep finding myself hosting visitors from out of state/nation so I figured I might as well make a hobby of it. I really enjoy interacting with a variety of people and helping them to either have fun or chill out after a hard day of work and/or adventure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago, I was all set for a weekend adventure with a friend in Denver. She backed out at the last minute, so I ended up driving south, to see what happened. Some nights I enjoyed camping in parks, and some nights I was able to surprise relatives of friends or complete strangers who thought I was nice.
Interests
laughing, native ecosystems, playing with food, organizational structure, research, relaxation, full moons, animal husbandry, community/economic development, and classic stories in book and film.

Teach, Learn, Share
Instead of using a "to be" verb (am, is, are, were, be, being, been), search for something more active that brings your sentence to life.
