ABOUT ME

I am an active 67-year-old and love to meet people from all over the world. I am a warm person and love to interact with people from cultures which are different than my own. I am a humanitarian and love to believe that I am helping the world to be a better place.

When I go to the website www.thesecretlanguage.com to learn about the influence of my birthday on my personality, I find some remarkable amazing characteristics which seem to define me quite well. I love to learn and explore. People are a great adventure and I enjoy interacting with people who share the desire to learn and explore.

Interests: I have many, many interests. I have so many that it is difficult to know where to begin. Before the internet, I spent half of my life in the library. Now I love to do research on the internet on any questions that comes to mind. I enjoy natural healing, business process outsourcing, stock market investing, and some social/political issues.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music from the '60's, 70's, and 80's. The Beatles are my favorite band. Ground Hog Day is my favorite movie.
I often enjoy watching documentaries.
My favorite books are: "Knocking at the Gate of Life" Healing exercises from the official manual of the People's Republic of China.
And: "Tapping into Ultimate Success" by Jack Canfield (co-authour of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and Guinness Book of World records holder for the most books on the New York Times Best Seller List.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This exercise is empowering... Sorry, but I'm not stopping with one thing.
Hitchhiked through Europe for 2 months
I have worked investigating child abuse.
I have worked at a survival camp in the desert with at-risk teens.
I have worked at a fish factory in Alaska.
I taught myself to snow ski but didn't know how to get off of the lift. So I went back down the hill and shut down the lift when my legs hit the security bar.
I water skied on one ski. (fifty years ago)
I saw the tulip fields and a windmill in Holland and the canals in Venice Italy.
I went canoeing in the state of Main.
I went hiking/camping in bear country in Yellow Stone park starting from Old Faithful. We wore bells so that we would not scare the bears.
I have been successfully investing in stocks TQQQ and SQQQ for a friend in jail who can not open a bank account.
I went scuba diving and took a moto-taxi in Mancora, Peru. The driver gave me counterfeit money at night.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
I have learned Emotional Freedom Techniques and would love to teach others how to apply it in their lives to reduce negative emotions and reach their highest goals. The best source of free information for EFT is www.emofree.com
Another good resource is Jack Canfields book, "Tapping into Ultimate Success".
EFT has many applications and can be used to reduce or eliminate PTSD from all sources. Jack Canfield has the guiness book of world records for the most books on the New York Times best seller list.
