My name is Ken. I travel when I can and I love to rock climb. I tend to be pretty introverted until you get to know me. After a brief stint as a chemist I transitioned to the field of data science where I've been for the last few years.

Looking for deeper connections on my next trip. I like to learn more about the people and places I'm staying at on a more personal level.

I may not have a place to offer now (due to room mates or other reasons) but hope to at some point in the future!

Interests

I love climbing and spend a lot of time at the gym and try to get outside as much as I can! I also enjoy playing video games, mostly RPGs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of fantasy books: Jordan, Sanderson, Hobb, Rothfuss, Lynch, Lawrence, etc. I can talk for hours about books.

Music-wise I mostly listen to various types of rock, some of my favorite bands include Kevin Devine, American Football, Bad Books, Pinegrove

I'm not a big fan of movies because it's usually hard for me to get drawn into the characters and the story, but love watching TV shows, anything The Office, Bob's Burger, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, various anime, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend and I went on a road trip and saw about ~10 national parks in a 2 week span.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know how qualified I am to teach my skills and interests but I'm always down to try, especially when it comes to climbing! I love to learn, especially about people's home and their culture.
