About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy work and my little farm in the woods half the year and be free to roam the other half.
ABOUT ME
I like to take it easy, but always looking for something new. I like to share happy times. Eating, sporting, exploring, laughing, talking, walking, seeing new ways to live a life. I am always on my way somewhere, but there is usually some tempting distraction that keeps me from getting all the way there. All in all, I am a curios, hard working, fun loving and all of that.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not religious and I do not think I have a personal philosophy, yet:), But I love to discuss philosophy and can say that there are few topics I enjoy more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been surfing and hosting. My friend Peter Varga introduced me to CS some years back before we went on a trip together. We surfed many cities together and I fell in love with the concept. I have great friends from CS and even my girlfriend. What can I say, I am indebted.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite experience from couch surfing was talking with the lovely Mr. Ibrahim in Istanbul, sitting in the window in his kitchen, looking out on the city, drinking tea and maybe playing some backgammon. And I guess meeting Sara should be in here:)
Interests
I like to jump into deep water with both feet. Nothing like tackling a challenge to make you feel alive. I love to play games and do sports, I like to be constructive. When I am travelling there is not a job I would not want to try my hands at. There is nothing like work to make you learn something new. I love reading, listening to music, stories, the sounds of a new environment. Watching beauty and intricacy. Realizing the genious of some contraption or method is always awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books
A whole bunch, I am not going to list them all.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mushing a team of eight well trained alaskan huskies at night on a frozen marsh, with frost on the trees, under a full moon and northern lights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach knots. Some at least. My work involves climbing and I used to work as a fisherman, so maybe I can teach some knots.
I want to learn everything!
If I can come to work with you, nothing would make me happier.
