ABOUT ME

I love travelling, getting to know other people and making new friends. Some might say I am easy going and have travelled a lot. I started Couchsurfing in January 2013. So I'm quite new to this, sort of...

I like to do crazy and fun things in front of the camera when posing for a picture of street signs of which I cannot pronounce the name. What else would you like to know about me?

During the time I am not planning where to go next, not finding a sofa and fantastic people to spend our time with, I run a website: l1v.in and look for people to like our Facebook Page hint! :-)

I love grilled meat but do not care much about sweet things, love watching a movie on a comfortable sofa, enjoy grilled meat cooked on wood fire and sleep in a tent or car with a big smile on my face.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people who are curious, open-minded and a little crazy. I also enjoy (long) conversations and spending time together with others. I love to take people along for some days/weeks/or months, like I have done with my dear friend Susie from Seoul, South Korea. Susie travelled with me for over two great months. Thanks again for a great time and see you in Seoul! ^,^

As soon as I stop travelling and find a home somewhere in Australia you are very welcome to surf my place! If you have any questions about long term travelling, budgets, what car to buy or anything else that is on your mind please let me know and drop me a message! I'm happy to help whenever I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm greatly enjoying Couchsurfing as it is a fantastic way of meeting new people and cultures while also making friends. It's the best way to travel as I believe that travelling is best enjoyed when experiencing local, real life and culture.

Interessi

I am naturally curious and open-minded, interested in culture and adventure. I care a lot about my friends and family. I am also interested in trying as much chocolate as I can, enjoy an occasional beer or glass of red wine, love traveling and l1v.in the big mystery called life.

Loads and loads, though, while travelling I prefer meeting others and using my time differently.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Finding Lim Susie from South Korea at the house of Marc and Jojo in Luxembourg. I've asked her to join me travelling through France, Italy, Switzerland and some other countries and we enjoyed each others company for over two months. It is amazing how complete strangers of different cultures can become friends for life. (To Susie: I wish you all the best and hope to meet you again in Seoul. Know that you are very welcome to come and stay with us in Sydney, for as long as you like. We're family now. Love. ^_^)

I am travelling since August 2012 and have been enjoying every moment, challenge and country. In January I started using Couchsurfing which has changed the way of travelling in a very positive way. I have met many memorable people, made some friends and hope to meet a good few once I settle somewhere in the world!

Helping people finding a job in a country they love allows them to explore all corners and everything in between. They can save money for travelling, make new friends for life and gain valuable working experience.

In 2005 I went to Finland for my first experience abroad. I met two people who have become friends for life. We have enjoyed many things together in a very relaxed pace. After only having spent one year with them they have become closer friends than the ones I have known all my life. Magical!

Follow your dreams and do not wait too long. If you do not like it you can always go back to your "old" life. Do not regret, be happy! And share this happiness with others.
