Hi, I’m Kenny and I study Business Administration. I am very sociable and love meeting new people. The one thing you need to know about me is that I love languages to death! In my life, I want to learn a minimum of 10 languages, notably Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, German, Russian and way more! As a Canadian with Vietnamese origins, I am really proud of my Asian routes, embracing both my Canadian as well as my Vietnamese culture. I was however, unlike my parents, born in Canada. As a matter of fact, my two favorite meals are Poutine and Phở. I also speak both French and Vietnamese natively.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student, I can't afford to travel on a high budget. Couchsurfing might allow me to save a bit of money on accommodation. I also am the complete opposite of solitary. I want to use Couchsurfing to meet people when I'm traveling, as well as meeting people are are traveling when I'm home. I love meeting new people to talk, hangout and have fun.

Interests

My biggest passion in life is by far: Languages. They passionate me so much, I want to know everything about them. Learning languages allows me to connect better with people and to know more about their culture. I also have a furious passion for history: The Roman Empire, Ancient Greek, China, The Napoleonic era, and more... I also enjoy geography and politics. I really enjoy playing piano, as it relaxes me and I find it to be very enjoyable. I also played trumpet in high school and really enjoyed it. I’m also really interested in traveling around the world and I plan on visiting many countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are so many good movies out there that it's hard to name them all. Nonetheless I can definitely say that I love Star Wars with a burning passion. I also really enjoy Marvel Movies (Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc..). One other very good movie that I adored would be Ip Man. As for series, I am addicted to Game of Thrones. I plan on reading the books at some point as they seems so interesting. I also really enjoy the TV series from the BBC channel: Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes. I've also read many books, but two series of books I can name for sure would be Les Chevaliers d'Émeraude and A.N.G.E from Anne Robillard. They are however French books, but if you happen to speak French, then I highly recommend them to you as they will bring you to a whole new world.

Doing a one and a half month solo backpacking trip in Europe, visiting France, Greece and Ireland.
