Hi there! I'm a student currently doing a Master's abroad in Europe.

I'm originally from Seattle, but was born in Japan, so I've been a bit of everywhere.

I enjoy a number of things like taking naps, good conversations, good food (especially French fries and desserts!), and music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS now after my roommates had a few couch surfers at our flat. They were all super fun, and I really enjoyed showing them around and giving them advice about things to do and see with my roommates.

I also always regret visiting places and only doing what's on the 'Tourist Top 10', so I would love to see places through a local's eyes, kind of like Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I'd have to say my Master's program!

Thanks to my program, I've had the chance to live in San Sebastián where I stuffed my self with some of the best pintxos and enjoyed the view of the beach almost everyday. Now, I'm headed to Malta, where I'll be experiencing another new lifestyle.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I can teach you any random facts about American pop culture, some Japanese culture, and languages and linguistics in general.

LEARN: I would love to learn how to cook new dishes and awesome local spots that are lesser known to tourists. It would also be great to learn to see through a new perspective!

SHARE: I can share a number of things, including some jokes, fun, and whatever else!
