ABOUT ME

OH SNAP! Hello world, my name's Kenny Azama and I'm from Venice, California. I love travelling and just recently returned from a 7 month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia. Next up is Europe and now that I'm out here, I'm wondering...who can host me and my semi-clean undies?! I'm easy going, easy to talk to, and easily amused so I should be an easy surfer to host :D

6. Watched the sunrise at the 8th Wonder of the WOrld, Angkor Wat in Cambodia

8. Scuba dived off the island of Koh Tao, Thailand
9. Rock climbed the limestone krags of Krabi, Thailand
10. Did homestay with the Hmong tribe in the Sapa rice paddies of Vietnam
11. Tubed down the Mekong River in Laos
12. Witnessed the Lantern Festival in Chaing Mai, Thailand

I travel like Bear Grylls !
You are a hardcore traveler with a stomach of steel, and you'll eat a grub out of a tree long before you are even hungry. You can't remember the last time you showered, but you still look good.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I volunteer at a week long summer camp for children infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and the most incredible moment of my life was when I witnessed a 13 year old camper at the time, named Devonte, soar through the sky over a 500 ft canyon on a zip line. Here's the kicker: Devonte, at a very young age, was diagnosed with more ailments and illnesses than any of us will ever even see in a lifetime. He has full blown AIDS, two chronically broken arms, a speech impediment, a severe case of cerebral palsy (requires an electric wheelchair), and a slight case of Down Syndrome. Here's a kid who was not meant to fly and yet there he was while all of the other campers were clapping and cheering him on. BOOM, amazing.

I've learned that there is a reason why every part of our bodies faces forward except our butts. That reason is so that we can keep moving on while we leave all the bad shit behind us.
