ABOUT ME

I was a Spanish teacher for about two years in Florida and decided I was more interested in seeing the world so I moved to Spain to get a taste of Europe, traveling to all parts between terms and on vacations. After three years doing Spains Cultural Ambassador program (Auxiliares) my time is up and I have left Spain in search of a new adventure; Spouth Korea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In College I met some Saudi Arabian Exchange students at my University and began crashing their couch in an informal language and cultural exchange.

In Costa Rica i had a home stay for a month, couch surfing in a way. It was great to have the family's insight into the city and to see the country through an authentic experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music tastes are diverse: Concious HipHop, Reggae, Ska... Brass Instruments punk Salsa, bachata, merengue Rock, we all know mood dictates music. Some of my favorite books are Dumbing Us Down, Geography of Nowhere, 1984, We. one of my all time favorite movies is Before Sunrise because it captures a feeling many travelers experience. Sans Soleil is a great art film, full of vivid imagery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a Volcano Erupt in Costa Rica. We couldnt cross a bridge because the river tore it apart. so we had to wait for 5 hours for a ride from the other side. it sounded like a cannon and a huge cloud of smoke came out.

Went with Peruvian Special forces to shut down and Illegal Gold mine. They blew up 21 car motors used in the process and 10 barrels of gasoline. The percussion wave was pretty powerful.
