hello! I'm a 35 year old social worker. My organisation supports people with a disability, in order to make sure then can still live on their own and make their own decisions. In my spare time i do like to travel at least one time a year. For a long time i limited myself to Europe, but since i went to Cuba, Indonesia and backpacked my way trough china for 3 months, i've got a taste for far far away. An other thing i want to mention is that i'm gay. I was a bit reluctant to mention it here, but i know that some people like to know this in advance. To me, it doesn't define who i am; but it's just a part of me that i cannot ignore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just bought an apartment in antwerp and am refurbishing it at the moment. When all the works are done, i'm open to receive some people accross the world. In the mean time, maybe i can find a place to stay at your place when i'm visiting?

The main aim is to find a nice place to stay. I could go for a hotel, but to experience how people are living in a country i've never visited, tells me more about the country itself, then a clean hotel room. So yeah, basically i want to meet up with people to. For travel advice, or have drink, go to a concert, or just chill out ... We just see what happens i guess :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last thing i did that was amazing was Climbing the Borobudur Temple at dawn to see the Sunrise. amazing experience. Just sitting there, and waiting to see how the sun blows away the mist ...

Next to that: Tiger Leaping Gorge in China. A 3500 steep gorge where you can have gorgeous walks. A meandering river awaits at its feet, narrow paths with waterfalls and lots of flowers decorated the top.
