We are Kent and Emma, we really enjoy meeting all types of people and getting to know them. We have been married since 2014 and just purchased our house the summer of 2016. We are adventurers who love to travel both for business and pleasure. We are designers who spend our days solving problems and working through the details of medical devices and in our time off, we like to explore and travel the World.

We are big foodies, both in cooking ourselves as well as enjoying the diversity of great food anytime we travel. We always jump at the opportunity to try a new and interesting spot.

We are also big music lovers, we have our favorites (Ben Harper, Led Zepplin, First Aid Kit, Kaleo...to name a few) as well as learning about new music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love travel, it has really opened our lives to a range of great life experiences that we otherwise would not have encountered without some wondering and wandering. We have not yet surfed ourselves, but we have been able to spend a lot of time with surfers who have stayed with friends of ours and it has only been great experiences. We think Pittsburgh is a cool place and we like to help enable others to enjoy it as well as meet the range of unique surfers who come through.
