About Me
Hello!:)
My name is KENTA HAYASHI.
I'm a professional musician from Japan.
I am super mellow and easy going.
I just started using couchsurfering.
I'm looking forward to meeting people, and I'd love to share my music as well:)
Just finished my Europe & U.K tour and came back to Japan.
If you wan to come stay with me in Japan, you are more than welcome!
However, I play over 160 shows a year and I've hardly ever been home ha ha.
So most likely I won't be home.
But don't hesitate to contact me though:)
If I'm here and free, I can host you.
and many people think Shimoda ( where I live ) and Shizuoka city is close, but they are pretty far like 3 - 4 hours by car. ( please notice the distance you would come away)
and also I only can offer you a space at my home studio.
Which doesn't have a kitchen or shower.
It's safe, but not so very clean.
So if you wanna take a shower, you have to go to Onsen (hot spring) .
So this condition works with you, hit me up!:)
From here I'd love to share my art with you.
It shows you who I am a little bit I think.
Here is my Biography to share with you:)
KENTA HAYASHI Japanese exotic & Artistic musician
HAYASHI is a one man show, creating an orchestra of sound by layering vocals, guitar, effects, percussion, and electronic beats. The result is a mixture of Rock/Funk/Blues/Acoustic/Psychedelic/Trance/Electronica/Dub/Jam and Jazz, with overtone harmonies on a rhythmic foundation.
HAYASHI moved to America when he was 18 just after graduating from high school in hometown of Gifu CITY, JAPAN. It was in the city of Los Angeles that HAYASHI formed the alternative funk rock band FOUR MINUTES TIL MIDNIGHT (FMTM).

FMTM quickly gained notoriety for their live performance, winning the battle of the bands in L.A. in 2006 and in Las Vegas in 2010. World-wide tours brought them playing and collaborating with such artists as: Common Sense, Ozomatli, Greyboy Allstars, The Expendables, Bargain Music, Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Lenny Castro (The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele, John Mayer, TOTO), and Larry Dunn (Earth, Wind & Fire).
In 2009 FMTM reached No.1 on USEN Japanese indie music chart. The band continues to tour annually while the KENTA HAYASHI SOLO PROJECT performs over 160 solo shows a year around the world.
