About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a chill, single traveler looking to experience new cultures and food. Recent university graduate. Japanese-American living as a ski instructor and chef in Japan. Currently road tripping from Louisiana and ending in Seattle. Hoping to hangout/staying with "foodies" and business minded people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience cultures through a local'a perspective. To meet new, interesting people from around the world. As a starting chef/cook in the restaurant industry, a big part of traveling has been to try regional foods and eat at the best restaurants! What better way to experience food than with a local?
Interests
Food, ski, cooking, traveling, music, photography and all sports. I'm a diehard LSU football fan. I'm interested in anything art related, but also extremely interested in business and entrepreneurship.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like electronic and rock music. Rap is cool too. Currently my favorite band is Klingande. Sick saxophone solos!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
8 days kayaking through the Amazon in Ecuador hunting for food with indigenous Huaorani warriors was probably the most amazing thing I've done. Being a "ski bum" was pretty amazing, as was Tomorrowland festival in Belgium.
Teach, Learn, Share
Willing to teach Japanese. Hoping to learn new languages!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a fun but laid back guy, very easy going. I hope to be able to lighten someone's life with stories about travel and other life experiences. I can also cook Japanese food for you!
