Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To be a catalyst for a regenerative human culture. Through inspiration, teaching, speaking and designing, my mission is to inspire others to live WITH and WITHIN their physical and social landscapes.
ABOUT ME
Energetic, friendly, laugh-loving, nice guy who is travelling around the world learning how different peoples live sustainably and then sharing that wisdom. I have been around Australia, across Canada, into the U.S. and helped start a Permaculture school in Barbados. Coming back to Canada I designed and built our own off-grid tiny house. I have settled back into Alberta will never let go of the traveller and the learner in me.
I love using the couchsurfing network to meet interested, well-traveled people. I do this to;
(a) give back to the amazing network that still continues to host me when I travel for work and fun
(b) to "power-friend" and make new lifelong friends
(c) to share what I do, learn from others, and make amazing new stories
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I couchsurf because I love the community and meeting new people. I travel for work and fun and would much rather enjoy genuine human experiences and new friends than checking into a boring hotel room with a continental breakfast.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Ive been on the most eastery, most southery and the first place the sun touches in Australia.
I was randomly invited to Kayak to Fraser island, the largest sand island in the world. We paddled 40 km, 2 days straight, camped on the island for 3 days and paddled back. I paddled beside dolphins, was harassed by wild dingos and hiked through the worlds only sand rain forest.
Helped build an earthship and a strawbale house.
Built a 2 acre food forest for a client. 282 fruit/nut trees of 80 different varieties, a huge vegi garden all on a water and life resilient landscape.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I love to learn! I am like a sponge. I also love to teach. It is what I do for a career and I freely share what I can.
In terms of physical activities I can teach breakdancing, body percussion, hacky sack, most activities that involve a board, and most sports. I have a minor in P.E., have been a coach and a fitness instructor.
In terms of understanding our world and existence I am a generalist for many areas. I can teach you how to set up a garden, about the seasons, the sun and moon, about various sustainable housing techniques, about designing landscapes so you work with nature not against it. I can teach about earthworks, directing an excavator around, building a food forest and rebuilding social structures. I am passionate about learning and teaching others how to grow food, repair land and build community.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
My passion, experience and knowledge for all things “sustainable”. I’m an easy going and “yes man” kind of guy so i can offer a host some low-key hanging out and treat them out to supper or I can just as readily tie up the shoes and go out for some adventure.
