Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people, hear their stories, make new connections. I've used this site a couple of times now to either meet up with people, or host, or stay somewhere, all have been great experiences. This website really is quite a blessing, especially in my city, where it's normally harder to actually go out and find those who are from different backgrounds than those from my town...My city IS a diverse town, with people from everywhere, but this definitely makes it easier than the old way of going out, and just hoping to make a connection with someone from, for example: Tajikistain, Zimbabwe, Iceland...etc....I think you get the point. ;^)

Also...I want to share my city with you!!! Not many people know about it, so I would love to help you have a good impression of it...maybe one day we'll "put this place on the MAP."
