About Me

Hello everyone :)! People who know me generally say I'm very social. I usually connect easily with people. I'm friendly, I love having fun, meeting new people and learning from their experiences. I'm not too bad at making jokes. At least, I hope not. If you need to find me, I'm the girl with big hair laughing in the back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from different backgrounds! I want to visit places and hang out with locals. I love traveling, and as a working student my budget is pretty small, but it all goes to new adventures. I really love the concept of couchsurfing and the solidarity implied with it. We don't know each other, but let's meet and hang out like we're already old friends! I always try to pack a little something for my host, generally food, because, I mean, who doesn't like food? If you're a vegetarian/vegan/lactose or gluten intolerant/allergic to anything/jewish/muslim, tell me beforehand. Or I'll ask anyway. I don't want my little gift to be seen as an attempt to kill you.

I'm finally able to host! Unfortunately, I can only host one traveler. It'd be on our couch (I'm living with a really nice dude) in the living room. The couch is pretty big, and even if you're 1,90m, I guess you could sleep well on it. I may not be super available to hang out with you as much as other hosts could, but I'll try my best and give you some tips about what to see or do in my hometown.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. It's a big part of my life. I mainly listen to rap and reggae, just to give you a simple overview, but I do listen to a lot of other things too. I love singing, and you should know that. I always have a song stuck in my head, so I'm always singing. The same two sentences. Over and over. For 48 hours. But I still actually have friends, so it can’t be that bad, right?

Oh! I've read a pretty good book too: The man who mistook his wife for a hat, by Oliver Sacks. Oliver Sacks is a neurologist and in this book, he presents different surprising medical cases he's encountered in his career. It was amazingly interesting and it kind of changed how I see my own body, its functions and capacities, fascinating!

I really enjoy gangsters movies. Somehow I wish I was a mafia boss or something like that, like, you know, the badass but with morals. The one that plays nice, that is nice, but don't think nice means weak. The discrete, smart, reasonable, polite but violent and fearless leader of all crimes. Yea. This could totally be me. In an another life. Knowing that, it makes sense that my favorite movie is A Bronx tale (the scene with the bikers at the bar being my favorite e v e r ! I wish I was Sonny ...)
