Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS because I am traveling around Europe for the fall of 2010. However, I plan on being able to host in the future in the US.

I love talking to and meeting new people, I spend a lot of time cooking and learning from others :) Trying to expand my horizons by being abroad and doing more than just 'staying' in a city...I want to meet locals and engage in the culture in a deeper way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Swedish Lappland. It was my first time doing 'real' hiking, and at times I was extremely frustrated and tired, but I will never forget the view, the pureness of a nature respected by its travelers, and the rawness. It was really the first time where I felt that as a human being, I was a visitor, and not dominant.
