About Me

I'm a half Japanese and half German student. I grew up bilingual and now I can speak Japanese as well as German fluently.
Learning languages has always been one of my strengths. Currently, I'm improving my Russian. I'm interested in different cultures and love internationality.

Music has always been a big passion of mine. I play the guitar, the piano and sing, write my own songs and record them! I'm also interested in the music of other countries!

One important thing for me while traveling is to eat the local cousin of a country!
Also, I like to get to know new people and have interesting conversations.

In the future, I would like to work in the culture or creative sector.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing is the best way to get to know to local people of that country. This is something that rarely happens if you stay in hostels or hotels.
Also I think, that way traveling becomes more exciting and challenging to myself!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the greatest experiences was my voluntary year in Japan when I worked in an old peoples home.
Me and my roommate from Germany we formed a two-man-band and performed in different old peoples homes. I played the guitar and sang and my friend played an electric drum set. Of course we played only folk songs and old songs of their generation. It was exciting, and also moving because the old people were very thankful for the performances we did. Also they were a lot more livelier than usually and some of them even cried.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play something on the guitar and sing if you have one ^^
