I'm a 19 years old Malaysian Chinese girl who loves adventures and trying new things. I am an independent girl who is always up for some challenges.

I came from a family of 4 children which leads a very ordinary life. Therefore, I am a very understanding person.

I love travelling and would like to travel to many different countries while I'm still capable of, whether it is physically or financially.

I'm currently studying as an international student in a Taiwan University.
Aiming to gain as much of experience as possible through local Taiwanese before i leave Taiwan. After living away from home for a long time, I've realised it isn't easy to live in a country where you are surrounded by strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I travel and visit a new country, I would try the local delicacies(as long is not beyond my extremeness), visit historical sites and museum, understand the local culture, and try to live like a local.

But, I always knew there is something missing.

And I realised, to really experience the culture of a different country could never be done in days or weeks.

There are many untold stories, hidden gem, dark histories that only the local know.

You could read all the travel stories from, books, blogs and watch travel documentaries on television, vlogs as much as you want, you can't denied the fact that some things can't be learn from books.

Through Couchsurfing, i hope to be able to truly experience a new place through the eyes of the local. And on top of that, I would also want to meet new people and traveller to inspire on my future adventure.

Interests

I tried kayaking recently and got in love with it. Would like to find kayaking partner and also get to know better how to kayak. ( Only kayak once ）

Would be extremely willing to join other adventurous sports such as mountain climbing(been wanting to try for a long time), flying fox.

I play the alto saxophone and the piano during my high school days. I was in the marching band for 5 years which colored my life and made me into the person I am today

Music, Movies, and Books

My fav singer is definitely Christina Perri .
I just love how the lyrics in her songs,
it touches my heart and also speaks the deep voice inside of me.

I am a movie addict, I can watch movies all-day-long if my eyes allow. I watch all kinds of movies except horror films.
But to be specific, I love watching exciting and twist plotting movies such as Hunger Games, Harry Potter (classic) and also chick flicks such as Mean Girls （I know it's an old movie, but it's still awesome).

I read books which genre are similar to my choice of movies, twist plotting, and chick-lit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't think of any amazing thing to be brag about.
But I've finished my national service and through it, I gain a lot of new experience.
I got bitten by a leech .
Survive the flood.
Overcome my fear of height. (not entirely but, at least its better)
Truly understand the culture and etiquettes of other religion.
Donated blood for the first time. (Did it without of my parent's consent)
First time spending months away from home.

Tips and experience of the places I've been so far. ( I'm a person who does research before traveling, lots of research)
I am going to host in the future when i owned my own place, but in the mean time, i can only be a travel companion.
