ABOUT ME

Curious about the world and other cultures. Couch surfing seems to be a good way to get to know people as well.

I was born in Lepplax, a small village in Western Finland. The closest town is Jakobstad, not very interesting in the winter, but in the summer, there is a lot going on, music and culture festivals. This is where I usually spend my summers, so I'll be more than happy to host you if you want to experience a bit of Finnish summer.

My greatest interest is languages. They have fascinated me ever since I was little, and I just can't get enough of learning new languages. I also enjoy food, wine, travel, music, art, beer, dancing, theatre, cinema etc.

I mostly listen to indie, rock, dance, etc. I'm not a passionate reader, but it happens sometimes. Movies, hm, there are lots of great movies.

Of all my travel experiences, one thing I'll always remember is a road trip I made across Europe. We started from Finland and went all the way down to north Italy and back.

I want to learn any language and teach the ones I know to others. Sharing cultural experiences, e.g. cooking together can be fun too.
