ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small mountain town where I began skiing down my snow covered driveway before I could walk. haha I'm in love with the snow!!! I've had the travel bug ever since I was little, I love photography, people, cultures...
PHILOSOPHY
hmmmm...
I believe in finding moments in your life where you could not ask for anything more. Those incredible times when everything just clicks and you couldn't be more satisfied. Those moments of astheticism that transcend a person to a whole other world. It's the simple moments at home, with friends or family, watching tv or eating dinner, when you feel most like this. The goal is to remember to appreciate all of these.

Skiing Skiing Skiing. Mountains are my home. I love music, people, art, photography, cultures, camping, biking, hiking, toasting marshmallows, jones soda bottles, uh... beads? hemp? buttons? traveling? hummus? brownies. And a cup of hot chocolate! hmm... :) I would love to learn all the languages in the world. I have a strange pull to climb to the top of every mountain or small hill I see. I recently love with rock climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just read Three Cups of Tea, and Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven, Beyond the Earth and the Sky- (great book)I loved the Harry Potter books when they were out and running. I dressed up for all the midnigh premiers of the movies and brought my broomstick haha. I used to read a ton, but got pretty busy with school and ski racing. I'm really trying to pick it back up now that I'm taking time off school. I just read Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut and a Henry Miller book before that.
I guess its kind of funny, but I always love a good documentary. Watching PBS and discovery channel. I don't watch a ton of movies, but most of what I do are old like Animal House, Indianna Jones type stuff.
Music is a whole other world for me. I can't even begin to describe all the great artists and generes out there. Cat Stevens is timeless, Avett Brothers are folky country, Priscilla Ahn, Laura Viers, Bob Dylan. Grizzly Bear-the song two weeks, Matt and Kim-the song Daylight, Jenny Lewis, Bachman Turner Overdrive, John butler trio! Atmosphere, Italian wine drinking music, reggae wow, I could go on foever really haha
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living on this mountain is the most amazing experience!!! I love skiing and traveling around the western U.S. I took a trip to Portugal to visit my best friend who was an exchange student for the year. It was amazing! I went skydiving. I highly recommend it to everyone it was the experience of a lifetime and the most surreal thing I have ever done. And I would love to do it again sometime :) Everything in my life has been amazing. I don't know how a person could just choose one moment.
