ABOUT ME

I am a 32 year old human with a bright spirit and lust for adventure. I have been residing in the Bay Area for the last year teaching young people, dancing, singing, eating and growing good food, and taking advantage of the outdoors as much as possible. I am off on a 6-8 month adventure abroad. My plan is to travel to visit family in Israel, and then head off on an ancestral pilgrimage through Spain and Morocco.
I look forward to meeting many couch surfers along my way. And, I hope for a time when I can return the favor upon my return to the states!

PHILOSOPHY
Endless curiosity about the world, my place in it, and how I can contribute to the bounty of what is already here. Feelings of gratitude for the past and the present and (most of the time) hope for the future. Using my privilege to end white supremacy, and other injustices. I live to take risks and explore the limits of what is possible.

Currently, just starting, I am looking to build my profile for the chance that I may ask for a couch to sleep on in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but look forward to beginning the adventure. I also have lots of communal living experience, and have a good sense of how to live well with others!

I like to explore and experiment with using art for justice. I use my voice to sing and play, and my body to dance and act out. I love sharing company around food and enjoy any form of the outdoors. Oh, and... I love WATER!

Diverse love of music from electronic music (animal collective) to jazz to pop to rock to classical to folk (joni mitchell)... Mostly open to anything with less interest in rap and country

Mostly reading non-fiction these days--- a lot about neuroscience and psychology

Movies- - watching lots of documentaries and enjoy foreign films and art films as well as a good comedy!
