About Me
I am currently taking one semester off from school and working as a nanny in San Rafael, CA. The rest of the year I study printmaking at a small, liberal arts college in Asheville, NC.
I love painting and drawing, riding my bike, getting my hands dirty, going hiking and canoeing, singing songs, playing my guitar and meeting new people from new places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in high school I was lucky enough to participate in a five month long wilderness expedition in Vermont and New Hampshire. Myself and ten other high school and college aged students cross country skied the length of Vermont from the Massachusetts border up to Canada. Once there, we swapped winter gear for canoes and canoed across Northern Vermont and southern Quebec into Northern Lake Champlain where we swapped canoes for traditional wooden rowboats. We rowed down the length of the lake and biked back to New Hampshire from New York. All the while we learned about how to live sustainably and joyfully off the land in addition to experiencing close community living. It was one of the most formative adventures of my life and has inspired me to teach three summers as an outdoor wilderness guide.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love singing and playing guitar and would be happy to teach my host either one. Additionally, I have had a lot of experience making things with my hands such as carving spoons, sewing, weaving baskets, etc. and I would love to share those skills if time permits :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to provide yard work, general labor, gardening, cleaning, and a helping hand for longer visits. For shorter visits I will certainly do all of your dishes and you will have my endless gratitude!
