About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Turn the whole world into my home

ABOUT ME

I'm a human born of earth, although you might think otherwise if you get to know me well enough. I have a pretty healthy portion of the "weirdo" gene in me, but it's nothing to be worried about haha. That being said, anybody who wants to stay with me better have at least 1/2 a sense of humour ;)

I crave variety. It's the spice of life, and life is not spicy enough on it's own. The fact of the matter is i get bored easily. I do not find comfort in having a familiar place to come home to at the end of the day. My idea of fun is heading down the road on my motorcycle will my bedroll strapped to the back and no destination. I just returned from Europe, where i wandered without a plan for the last 6 months. My couch is once again open, athough it now moves around with me.

I'm a very positive person, and have realized throughout my life that feeling lousy all the time is exhausting. I prefer to use up my energy on other things, like having fun.

I have a mega passion for dirty old motorcycles. There's nothing i would rather avoid than polishing chrome haha. My bikes are ugly, old, and perfect. I had a love for bikes from a very early age, learned to ride when i was about 10, and have never stopped and never will. Unless i lose both my legs, then i will ride a trike, but i wont be happy about it.

I have already met some amazing people along my journey, and i know i will meet many more. I am so thankful for anybody who could help me out with anything along the way. And i am more than happy to help you out with anything while i'm a guest in your homeland. Seriously, I'll rake the leaves from your lawn, or catch the skunk living under your deck.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you feel happy, unless it makes someone else unhappy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing, hosting, CS meetings. I am also the captain of the CS cheerleading squad, the football team, and the indian leg wrestling team. Oh right, and the debate team, chess team, jenga team, and was the lead dancer in the CS ballet. I was also the first man to couchsurf on the moon, and the sun. At the same time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once rode a 45' wave in Hawaii on a lazyboy recliner. They said it couldn't be done, but they obviously didn't see all my positive references. visited 26 states (11.5%)Create your own visited map of The World or website vertaling duits?

Interests

The usual things. Post apocalyptic movies, motorcycles, rock'n'roll, skateboarding, veggie burgers, things containing comical value, black bears, dogs, wolves, aquariums, weirding people out, making ugly faces, searching for love, searching for food, searching for spiritual enlightenment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies..... I like way to many to list, but lately I like movies that pull on my heart strings. No I don't mean romantic comedies. I also like manly movies with loud machines and motorcycles and dirt and dust and shoulder pads with spikes on them. You know, mad max trilogy.
Music.....anything that catches my attention. Metal, classical, blues, rock, old hillbilly bluegrass, indy, whatever! Not much for top 40 though, or top 400 for that matter.
Books......due to my extremely overactive imagination, I don't read all that much. I do however prefer non fiction mostly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove 29,000 kilometers in 2 months with my band. Playing shows every night to a different crowd in a different city. That was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a master in the art of furniture and cabinet construction, as well as many other types of woodworking. My dad got me into the art of handcrafting things from a very young age, and i've made a career out of it! If you can ask it, i can probably answer it! All my family members have my work in their homes haha.
