Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 yo from Virginia. I'm currently in my second year of medical school and looking for some couches to surf during Spring Break and possibly summer? I'm pretty fun to hang out with (at least in my unbiased opinion) and promise to fold all blankets when done with them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to get the authentic feel of a place when I travel somewhere and the best way to do that I've found has been to talk and hang out with the people from there. I also love to put myself in new situations and places that make me uncomfortable because 8.5 times out of 10 those have been the most fun/weird/unique experiences that I've had.

Music, Movies, and Books
I will sing absolutely any song that I know the words to. My singing is pretty miserable, but if you'll sing with me we will be best friends forever.
Not a big movie person, but my best friends are so I will be able to keep up with any and all quotes from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Billy Madison, Superbad, Happy Gilmore, I Love You Man, and of course Harry Potter.
Big into reading (probably has something to do with the fact that my mom is a librarian) - Some of my all time favorites are: all Harry Potters, Little Princes (NOT The Little Prince), A Thousand Splendid Suns, anything by Rick Riordan. Currently reading: Anna Karenina, When Breath Becomes Air, Feminist Fight Club.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Willingly climbed into an unmarked white van with 3 other friends and a man I had found on the internet to take us rock climbing in Spain. Potentially very unsafe, but it turned out to be one of the coolest experiences I've ever had and guide, George, was nothing but a scholar and a gentleman.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I have a limited knowledge of Spanish, but am always up to practice conversing with other people. I also have about 2 years worth of medical knowledge (so I'm basically a little bit dumber than WebMD), but am willing to share what I know!
Learn: I LOVE LEARNING NEW THINGS! Teach me all of the things please!
High on my list of things to learn: piano/guitar/any musical instrument really, actual real rock climbing, magic tricks, how to start an IV, how to hotwire a car, chess, how to brew beer, scuba diving
