Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to travel! I love being a little out of my comfort zone, waking up to the sun rising over a dew covered field, getting a little dirty, getting a little lost but, most of all, I love meeting new people. Some of the most meaningful conversations of my life have been shared with strangers over a drink at a bar in a new city or sitting on a corner waiting for a city bus. I've found that hearing people's stories has given me a new appreciation for life, my experiences, and the strength and perseverance of my fellow man. I'm hoping that couch surfing gives me the chance to meet even more cool folks (and maybe get a shower in the process).

My Pandora is usually set to Jack Johnson, Bob Marley and Sublime. However, my car is currently playing Creedence, a local disbanded blues band -Oliver Buck, top 40, a 1960/1970s road trip compilation, and the Decemberists.

I'm not a huge movie chick. Harry Potters, LOTR, Taratinos, Sex and Lucia (probably my favorite non-kid movie), Brokeback, Disney...*shrug*

I did all my heavy reading in high school. Sartre, Camus, Hugo, and random bits of lit. If it was French, I probably read it in French. I lost that ability long ago, though. Nowadays my kindle is full of Kerouac, The Peculiar Children series, Mysterious Benedict Society series, Vonnegut, and a handful of other (trashy teenage supernatural romance novels) fine pieces of literature.
